Sobre la obra de Denis Siniauski
Nació en Minsk (República Socialista Soviética de Bielorrusia) en 1975. Su formación inicial se centró en el interés por el arte, la arquitectura y el diseño, estudios que comenzó en 1985. En 1992 ingresó en la Academia de Arte de Bielorrusia y, desde 1999, estudió en la Escuela de Arte 3D de Microsoft. Con la llegada del nuevo siglo trabaja en el ámbito del diseño, la arquitectura y la realización de grandes murales y relieves en Bielorrusia, Polonia e Italia. En 2005 inicia su estudio ecológico sobre la estructura del hábitat humano y la estructura del agua como principal fundamento de la vida. Su interés por el arte se vincula a su interés por el mar: obtiene el certificado de buceo y el título de patrón de vela en Bielorrusia, y estudia en la escuela RYA de Gran Bretaña. Desde 2010 realiza viajes de estudio por el mar Negro, el Mediterráneo y el océano Atlántico. Tras su llegada a España experimenta con nuevas técnicas, como el uso de agua de mar, tierras naturales y arena volcánica. Desde 2015 desarrolla su trabajo artístico en Tenerife y Minsk.
Entre Oriente y Occidente, un viaje de siglos. Una adaptación al entorno, al cambio, a lo inesperado. Largos caminos, senderos escarpados y la búsqueda de nuevos territorios. Como las raíces, el arte contemporáneo ruso y bielorruso se expande más allá de sus fronteras. Europa, inmersa en la globalización, la tecnología y la supuesta libertad de fronteras, se convierte en residencia y sede de confluencia creativa. Artistas que trabajan de manera independiente, pero vinculados a sus orígenes y a las mutaciones de un mundo funambulista y globalizado. El bielorruso Denis Siniauski muestra la individualidad de la percepción tradicional y contemporánea del hecho artístico. Sus obras reflejan episodios históricos, rebeliones, luchas, entradas y salidas, pérdidas y búsquedas, conflictos políticos, morales e ideológicos y, por supuesto, una contemporaneidad inevitable e inseparable.
Denis Siniauski (Minsk, 1975) se sitúa en el marco de una composición pura y fluida, que refleja una percepción minimalista del arte y una mirada paisajística hacia Occidente. Siniauski retoma la abstracción y el informalismo desde una lectura pictórica y matérica. La influencia del territorio, el uso de la pincelada y de los recursos naturales trazan su discurso geográfico sobre la isla, el mar y la materia volcánica.
En Way to the East existe, por tanto, una conexión territorial, un vehículo cultural entre artistas nacidos durante la época de la Unión Soviética y vinculados a la práctica cultural del país. Este proyecto destaca la presencia de un arte contemporáneo que busca sobrevivir más allá de los parámetros establecidos por los centros de una industria artística globalizada. Las obras comparten también unos orígenes académicos, pero no una línea creativa común, salvo el lenguaje de la abstracción, y forman parte de las consecuencias aún palpables y evidentes de la Guerra Fría. Las fronteras, los límites y los cambios continuos e inesperados de una administración sometida a presión configuran un panorama todavía desequilibrado y fragmentado. Tenerife, sede de esta acción creativa europea, se ha convertido en el foco de actividad de su producción artística.

Born in Minsk (Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic) in 1975. His initial training was centered on the interest in art, architecture and design, studies that he began in 1985. In 1992 he entered the Belarusian Art Academy and since 1999 he studied at the 3D Art School of Microsoft. With the entry of the new century, he works in the area of design, architecture and the realization of large murals and reliefs in Belarus, Poland and Italy. In 2005 he began his ecological study on the structure of the habitat of the human being and the structure of water, as the main basis of life. His interest in art is linked to his interest in the sea, obtaining the diving certificate, the sailing captain's license in Belarus as well as his studies at the RYA school in Great Britain. Since 2010, he has been doing study trips through the Black Sea, the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean. After his arrival to Spain he experimented with new techniques such as the use of sea water, natural soils and volcanic sand. Since 2015 he has been developing his artistic work in Tenerife and Minsk.
Between the East and the West a journey of centuries. An adaptation to the environment, to change, to the unexpected. Long roads, steep paths and the search for new territories. Just like the roots, Russian and Belarusian contemporary art expands beyond its frontiers. Europe immersed in globalization, technology and pseudo liberty of borders, becomes a residence and headquarters of creative confluence. Artists who work independently but linked to their origins and the mutations of funambulist and globalized world. The Belarusian Denis Siniauski demonstrate the individuality of the traditional and contemporary perception of the artistic fact. Their works reflect historical episodes, rebellions, struggles, entrances and exits, losses and searches, political, moral and ideological conflicts, and, of course, an inevitable and inextricable contemporaneity.
Denis Siniauski (Minsk, 1975) is situated within the framework of pure and fluid composition, which reflects a minimalist perception of art and a landscape look on the West. Siniauski takes up abstraction and informalism, in a pictorial and material reading. The influence of the territorial, the use of brushstrokes and natural resources, draw his geographical discourse on the island, the sea and the volcanic matter.
In the Way to the East exists, therefore, a territorial connection, a cultural vehicle between artists born during the era of the Soviet Union and linked to the cultural practice of the country. This project highlights the presence of a contemporary art that seeks survival, beyond the parameters established by the headquarters of a globalized art industry. The works that also shares academic origins, but not a creative line in common, except the language of abstraction, forming part of the still palpable and evident consequences of the Cold War. The borders, the limits, the continuous and unexpected changes of an administration under pressure, configure a panorama, still, unbalanced and fractured. Tenerife, home of this European creative action, has become the focus of activity of its artistic production.
